The Best Bamboo Squatty Potty For The Ultimate Elimination

The Best Bamboo Squatty Potty for The Ultimate Elimination

Best Bamboo Squatty Potty For Better Bowel MovementsI love this headline!!  Now, I know that a Bamboo Squatty Potty is not a toilet seat but I do really like this product, therefore, I want to write about it.

Why Should We Use A Squatty Potty?

Well, first of all look at how many Asians use a hole in the ground toilet to poop.  In the western world, people would cringe at the thought of squatting over a little hole in the ground, however, the Asians are smarter than us when it comes to taking a poo.  Squatting is the most natural way for us to eliminate waste, however,  when the toilet seat was invented, this natural squatting position was trained out of us as children.

What Is The Best Position For Us To Poop?

The best position for us to eliminate waste is to have the knees as close to the chest as comfortably possible.  On a toilet seat our knees are probably around a 90 degree angle, however, if we squatted down they would reach a 45 degree angle.  The beauty of the squatty potty is that by placing our legs on it, our knees are naturally closer to the chest region.

Benefits Of Using A Squatty Potty?

The main benefit of using a squatty potty is the ease of elimination.  It is the natural position to eliminate waste, therefore, naturally it will make it easier to come out.

Another benefit is that with the higher knee position, it will allow allow all of the waste to come out instead of leaving some behind.  This is great for clearing out the system and not leaving waste behind to rot inside the colon.

Another great benefit is that the knee to chest position prevents straining and excess pushing during a bowel movement.  This will reduce chances of developing hemorrhoids.

Finally, squatty potties are fantastic for small children because they allow the child to rest their legs on a higher platform.  This is great for giving the child stability without the need to place their hands on the toilet bowl for security.

The Squatty Potty comes in 7″ and 9″ sizes.  It is recommended that the 7″ be used by people new to using a squatty potty and also for those that are not so nimble that putting their legs up too high might be uncomfortable.

Best Bamboo Squatty Potty For Adults And Toddlers

Squatty Potty The Original Adjustable Height Bathroom Toilet Stool- Tao Bamboo –

Bamboo Squatty Potty For Adults And ToddlersThere are two different Squatty Potties, the Bamboo Squatty Potty which is obviously made of bamboo and the Ecco Squatty Potty which is made of plastic.  What I really like about this Bamboo version is that it is adjustable.  You can adjust the height between 7″ and 9″ which is great if you are not sure which height is the most suitable for you.

Also you can use this adjust-ability to gradually increase the height you have to squat.  In the beginning, 9″ may be too high for some people, however, once their hips and legs become accustomed to the 7″ height, they can then increase the height to 9″.  I believe that the closer the knees come to the chest area the better for waste evacuation so in general the 9″ would ultimately be better than the 7″.

Another reason I prefer the bamboo to the plastic version is i like the look of the bamboo.  I think the bamboo squatty potty is a lot more pleasing on the eye than the white plastic version.

This adjustable squatty potty is also suitable for taller toilet seats.  The 7″ squatty potty is a perfect fit for standard toilet heights, however, the 9″ is better for higher toilet seats.  The adjustable bamboo Squatty Potty is great for both.
